When my kids were small we made fudge often. Seems like I remember it almost always set just right and had a perfect texture. The past few times I have made it it was always delicious but I never did know if it would be the consistency of a thick chocolate drink or a brown brick.
I am eating healthy these days and nuts are something we should eat every day. Good fresh nuts are hard to find so I ordered some online from Nutsonline. I got one lb of almonds and 5lbs of walnuts. Having these good nuts, I just had to make fudge. I thought back to the ingredients I used in previous years and duplicated them exactly. The generics I had used before did not work. Continue reading

Aquarius
My four year old grandson started preK and he loves it. He said those little kids are getting on his nerves. We laughed. Wonder where he ever heard that? I had six going of to school and they all looked like fashion plates. My mom always made certain I had new school clothes and it makes little ones proud to look nice.
Don’t we just love them to death?
i wish I could cast a magic spell and cause all the little ones to have only good days and learn easily.
Having a little prob.writing on this little dashboard thing. Later

Hi everyone!
As most of you know, this coming week is my last official week with NASA’s Johnson Space Center. It has been a really challenging, yet rewarding experience that I am already starting to miss. Like last year, I wish I could stay longer but I have to return to school this coming fall… again.
Final Work Week
This past week and upcoming week have been extremely busy. I am working about 9 to 10 hours everyday trying to get our test procedures, test plans, conference/technical paper, and exit presentation completed. The good thing is that I am working with 2 other interns on this asteroid anchoring project so the work load is not extremely difficult but there is still a lot to do. Continue reading

Hi everyone!
I only have 3 weeks of my internship left and I’m already missing it. There is still plenty of work that needs to be done before I leave. Everything has been extremely busy since our program coordinator has been wanting us to get our final exit presentations done and time just flying by.
What I have been doing so far…
As I mentioned before we are still trying to get our main project finished which is figuring out ways on how to anchor on an asteroid. We will be ordering our materials this week and get a few things made from the machine shop at the space center. Our design concepts are currently unchanged. However, for the testing, mine has been changing very frequently. Continue reading

Hey everyone!
My apologies for not posting anything since new since “Part 3″. Work has been busy as the conclusion of the internship is only 4 weeks away. Time really flies when you have fun and work hard. It has been raining quite a bit these past 2 weeks but it has finally stopped. The only bad thing is that the misquotes are coming after me every day when I go outside to my car.
Last week…
Most of last week consisted of computer work that involved a big side project besides our main one that is still ongoing. My team been working on something called the Master Equipment List (MEL). In our case, since we work with the Altair Project Office, it had to do with components of the Altair Lunar Lander which is part of the NASA’s Constellation Program. Continue reading
