The cesspool that is major college football is producing an odor that would repel a skunk.
BCS which officially stands for Bowl Championship Series really refers to Business Corrupted Schools. Business Corrupted Schools have an unhealthy preoccupation with making as much money as possible so their millionaire coaches and athletic directors can get even richer. They may be willing to do anything for more money.

The wealthy schools of major conferences established the BCS to control who could participate in a national college football championship by limiting the ability of schools from financially weaker conferences to participate. Continue reading

Did the Big !2 leaders who are talking about leaving the Conference play too many games without a helmet when they were younger? That’s the only way it would make sense to break up one of the nation’s two premier football conferences. The Big 12 has participated in more BCS championship games than any other conference. Only SEC teams have won more championships.
I can understand why the Big 10 and Pac-10 Conferences might want to break up the Big 12 considering that the Big 12 has participated in more championship games than the Big 10 and Pac-10 combined. But, why does the Big 12 want to commit suicide? Continue reading

I wish you a peaceful, uneventful Christmas.
I’m not sure “Merry Christmas” is appropriate because I know from experience it’s difficult to feel merry when you are thousands of miles from home and there are people outside the perimeter who would like to kill you. It’s more difficult for many of you than it was for me because many of you are away from your spouses and children as well as being away from your parents and siblings.
I spent Christmas 1969 at Landing Zone English just north of Bong Son, South Vietnam. I hope your Christmas will be comparable to mine. Continue reading

The recent release of the Climategate papers from the Climate Research Unit isn’t the first time those pushing to global warming scam have been caught suppressing information.
Miklós Zágoni was Hungary’s most outspoken supporter of the Kyoto Protocols until he came across the work of Ferenc Miskolczi, a NASA whistle blower who discovered a major flaw in the equations that have been used to predict catastrophic global warming.
When Arthur Milne developed the equations 80 years ago he mistakenly assumed an infinitely thick atmosphere as a boundary condition. Assuming boundary conditions is a common practice when solving differential equations, but assuming anything close to an infinitely thick atmosphere only makes sense when dealing with black holes.
