Motorized La-Z-Boy Hits eBay
I hadn’t heard of this story but it happened over a year ago. Basically a 62 year-old Minnesota man deck out his La-Z-Boy with a lawnmower engine and other accessories and would drive it down to his local bar to watch Vikings football games. The Great State Fair
The Lost Ogle, one of my favorite Oklahoma based blog sites, had a Oklahoma State Fair photo contest. The encouraged readers to submit pic from the state fair “that help summarize (and describe) this mecca of rednecks, methamphetamine and fried everything.” They pic the top ten for readers to vote on. They range from funny to disturbing. I will be taking my camera along with me next year on my annual family day at the fair. Here are the links to the semi-finalist and finalist.
