Senators—-Bah!!!!

Aquarius

I had always thought we had some honest politicians. How naive was that?? I liked Cobern even though he was a republican. Now he is bing accused( and it seems he’s guilty) of helping a cohort pay off a mistress and get her husband a job. He  and Inhofe are letting ads run on tv trying to scare old people. These ads say they are protecting seniors from losing their medicare drug coverage. They are not in danger of losing it and the ads are just scare tactics.

I have always admired Leiberman but… thought he might put us too far out on a limb for Israel . I consider Israel an ally but we have to be cautious. Anyway, I have zero respect for him at this moment. I know most readers are against health care reform in various ways. Considering this I think you will agree with me that he is planning to vote on the side of his own wealth. His wife is knee deep in the lobbyist pollution and has made millions from health care related businesses. His constituents are in the majority wanting  a government health care ins. He apparently has no loyalty.

Another senator Bayh, from one of those yankee states, is doing exactly the same thing. His wife has also made millions. I hope these two enjoy their money because their so-called “ years of service  “are over.

I am so disgusted with these men. Why couldn’t they just be happy with serving their country and earning a decent living? Why do they have to betray everyone’s trust? It seems none are above the lure of big money and are willing to let the money of big industry buy their votes and consequently control our government.

This subject to me right now isn’t about health care. Whatever your opinion is about this subject you should all be as angry as I am about this pollution of our goverment by big money. When you get right down to it our one little vote is rather insignificant . It shouldn’t be this way in a democracy.

I had read a report that led me to believe Bayh was going to go against the healh care bil and join Lieberman in trying to stop a vote on it. I was pleased to learn he isn’t going to do that. I still feel it is wrong for his wife to make millions from the health care industries.
