Motorized La-Z-Boy Hits eBay
I hadn’t heard of this story but it happened over a year ago. Basically a 62 year-old Minnesota man deck out his La-Z-Boy with a lawnmower engine and other accessories and would drive it down to his local bar to watch Vikings football games. One Sunday he pick up for his chair under the influence after hitting a parked car. He pleaded guilty on to DWI and was sentenced to 180 days in jail and had to forfeit his La-Z-Boy. Here is the point of this post according to the Wired.com police is in the process of listing the chair on eBay today. I don’t know why but I extremely curious to see how much this chair ends up going for and if the original owner is the winner.

I must keep my husband away from the computer. We live about five blocks from the bar he likes and he’d love that chair.But if he had the chair I could quit worrying about him wrecking my favorite pickup. I’m interested to see what it sells for too.
